wonderful place with magnificent views. a huge variety of options for breakfast in the bar. the location amazing and fantastic in centre of old town. near to the mighty catedral and the imposing walls, the historical center and the major attractions. fantastic base for exploring avila.

This hotel, nestled inside the ancient city walls, offers a fantastic value for money. The location is ideal, with views of the Avila Walls from some of the rooms. The staff provides excellent service and attention to detail, making sure that basic amenities are up to par. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with well-functioning safes and attractive lighting. The breakfast spread is delicious and satisfying, perfect for starting the day off right.

It was nice hotel in central location inside the walled town. The room was large & the staff friendly.

There was parking next to hotel which was great but we couldn't find how to get there in the car as lots of no entry signs in the old walled city - which we later found we could ignore as we needed access. The hotel manager kindly sentt one of his staff to direct us through the maze of street to get to the parking space.

Hotel's waiter was top! Adjacent to the downtown, 5 minutes on foot.

Fabulous location within Avila's walls. Secure parking for motorbikes. Spacious and clean rooms. Considerate breakfast for vegetarians. Helpful and polite staff

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Las Cancelas is in a good location near the Cathedral. The staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel itself is decorated in medieval style and the restaurant serves excellent food. There is also a lovely outdoor courtyard across from the hotel where you can sit for a drink. We enjoyed our stay there immensely.

This hotel is a hidden gem, tucked away in a charming little street just steps away from the famous city walls. The location couldn't be better - we were able to explore all the main sites with ease. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, especially Michael, Diego, Felipe, and the lovely lady who looked after us during breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, and we loved the view from the window. Breakfast was a treat, with a delightful spread of delicious food to start our day.

Excellent food, lovely location for dinner and typical inner courtyard for breakfast. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to see a typical beautiful old building in an excellent condition and who wants a real Spanish experience.

We loved the hotel's location close to the Cathedral and the entrance to the wall walk. The garden adjoining the Cathedral was lovely. The room had a comfortable bed and a big shower. Breakfast offered nice variety. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The restaurant within the hotel was overpriced and not worth the cost.
